The Pacific Desk is a dedicated representative office strengthening economic ties between Southern California and the European Union, with a particular focus on Germany and its federal states. We are a non-profit organization creating real, bilateral business opportunities between two of the world's most dynamic economic regions.
What We Do
We guide German and European organizations into the US market, and we bring the right US companies into European expansion. Our work spans market intelligence, curated introductions, delegation hosting, trade show representation, and structured support for companies evaluating the San Diego–Baja California nearshore manufacturing corridor.
Who We Serve
German federal states, EU institutions, German and European companies entering the US, US companies expanding to Germany and Europe, and European brands exploring cost-efficient production through the USMCA corridor.

We exist to bridge two of the world's most dynamic economic regions — the innovation corridors of Los Angeles and San Diego on one side, and Germany's industrial and technology heartlands on the other — creating real business opportunities for both sides.
Who Builds It
The Pacific Desk is a non-profit organization operated by three senior partners — Stefan Langin in Los Angeles, and Katrin Bridges and Sibylle Hauser in San Diego — each bringing decades of transatlantic experience across fintech, cleantech, enterprise SaaS, biotech, and life sciences.
